the turotial is excellent, but as i'm new to html and asp, i'm having trouble getting the code to work.

i created the pages [htm and asp] as mentioned by you, but when i double click on the htm page and enter an email id it displays to me the whole source code of the asp file. neither does it access the database and add the email address into it, nor does it give me any error message.

Can you please help me with this as i want to get it to work as soon as possible.

You will have to make sure that ASP pages are able to run on your server. For that you need Windows 2000/Windows XP (PROFESSIONAL edition). You can then install IIS from the Windows components if it is not already isntalled. After that, try to run at least one successful ASP page, then you can come back and visit this tutorial.
