Hi,

I want to know the DSN less connectivity of SQL Server with VB and ASP.I tried to connect with
the coding that was on ur website but i was not successful.Its very easy with MS Access not
so with SQL Server.
What i did was
1.Made a table in SQL Server naming "Name" with two fields namely "Name" and "Roll"
2.Copied the data files "Names_Data" and "Names_log" present in Data folder of MS Sql Server
folder to the folder where i saved my VB project.

then i copied the coding on ur site and pasted in my project then ran the project but it
didn't work.

what sql server name should i give ?
Pls give me detailed information about this problem.
Do we have to copy the files from Data folder from MS SQL Server folder.
