BAD STRUCTURE
Posted: 18 Jul 2003
The file structure listed is inconsistent. I did everything the article asked and kept getting, file can't be loaded because not found messages.

Also, we a new member joins in, please fix the default page. An error show up that the page has been moved or something or other...

thanks,

Remember directory is relative to the Web Server WebApp directory

Note, when the tutorial states "Create a new .java source file in the /WEB-INF/classes/com/stardeveloper/tag/test folder of your web application" that does not mean create it relative to your root directory. It must be relative to the 'root' webapp directory for your web server.

I deployed the JSP on a weblogic server with no problems...

Use any one of IDE. All the path settings are maintained automatically and we can concentrate only on the coding. I use NetBeans IDE 5.0. All the files are working perfectly.

Good Luck.
